# Outbound call

Initiates an outbound call to a phone number.

* Phone number: The target phone number to outbound call TO.
* Inbox phone number: The Clerk Chat inbox phone number to outbound dial FROM.

This is usually paired with a Say or Voice AI node where `wait for speech` option is true.
